Academic Center

The Academic Center is located in Building C, Room C239.  The center offers Tutoring, Disability Services, and Multicultural Advising. 

Tutoring

The Academic Center provides tutoring in most liberal arts courses and selected career courses.  Peer tutors, recommended by faculty and trained in the Academic Center, are available to help students individually or in study groups.  Students may utilize resource materials, including books, videos, and study guides, in writing, mathematics, biology, nursing, sociology, psychology, study skills and other subject areas.  Tutoring is a service provided by the college and is available to all students at no cost.

Disability Services

Multicultural Advising

You may have a need that is not addressed in another student service program. Our advisor provides a unique support system designed to assist you with every phase of your education. Assistance in securing financial aid, housing, transportation, admissions and program information, personal and academic advisement and community resourses referrals are but a few services provided. The advisor acts as an advocate for you with faculty and staff and serves as a liaison with federal, state, tribal and special scholarship funding agencies.
