How do I log onto a campus computer?
- User name: first initial, first four of last name, last three of student ID Example: Benjamin Smith 00000549, your user name would be: bsmit549
- Password: Enter birthdate in this format: YYMMDD (for example: Feb 12, 1980 is 800212).
Where do I find a campus computer to use?
Open computer labs are C222 and D132 or computers are available in the HCC library, please check outside these areas for open hours.
How do I access my Hibbing Community College email account?
Click on the “Students” link found on our campus homepage www.hibbing.edu, mouseover "My Accounts" and click on "My Email" or go directly to http://hibbing.edu

How do I access my online course?
Go to the campus homepage www.hibbing.edu Click on “Online Students”. Click on “Course Login Information” For problems accessing your online course, please contact tech support at 218-263-2970 or 1-800-224-4422 ext. 2970 or onlinetechsupport@hibbing.edu
How do I change my passwords?
- To change your campus network login password, log in to a campus computer and hit ctrl, alt, delete, select change password.
- To change your email password, log in to your email account, click on the “options” icon found at the very top of your Novell window, change and confirm your new password.
- To change your D2L (Online software) password, log in and select “my Password” found on the left side of your screen.
- To change your registration login password, go to the registration site, log in, click on “Account Management," select Change Pin, enter information, and select change.
