Alsos reaches Strasborg where documents reveal no serious German bomb threat. Alsos was the code name for a special division of the Manhattan project whose job it was to follow allied troops into Germany and discover if the Germans had an atomic bomb program. The team was led by physicist Samuel Goudsmit.
